We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Litigation Associate to join our established legal team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and work on complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of litigation including commercial, business, employment labor, white collar, and real estate litigation.

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters, ranging from commercial disputes to employment labor issues, white collar crimes, and real estate litigation.
• Conducting extensive legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.
• Providing sound legal advice to clients based on thorough research and analysis.
• Working closely with a team of attorneys to develop legal strategies and prepare for court proceedings.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and changes that may affect clients or cases.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-7 years of litigation experience.
• A Virginia bar license.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience in one or more of the following: commercial litigation, business litigation, employment labor litigation, white collar litigation, and real estate litigation.
• Experience attending hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Previous experience in a northern VA trial court.
• Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
