Litigation Associate Job Summary An esteemed AmLaw200 firm, well-established along the Gulf Coast, is currently seeking an associate to join their Chambers-ranked Litigation practice group in the Houston office. This attorney will collaborate closely with a robust team of litigators known for their mutual dedication, led by a partner committed to fostering associate development. Litigation Associate Responsibilities
•   Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy
•   Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
•   Represent clients in court proceedings and other dispute resolution forums
•   Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop and implement case strategies
•   Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters
•   Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant documents are properly filed and maintained
•   Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required
•   Stay current on legal developments and industry trends relevant to litigation. Litigation Associate Requirements
•   Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
•   Admission to the Texas state bar.
•   4+ years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on maritime, energy, O&G, and/or transportation matters.
•   Strong legal research and writing skills
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•   Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
•   Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional excellence
