Senior Level Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer
Automation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 to 8 for database servers running within vSphere.
Team Description:
UNIX Engineering Team establishing & executing strategies for UNIX Operating Systems in BNY Mellon. Automated interoperability & integration of RHEL bare metal and on/off prem Cloud VM's delivery which are CIS compliant with zero-day vulnerability capabilities for multiple consumers from inception. Partnerships with all Infrastructure, Engineering, Architect, Application, and UNIX support Teams to deliver optimal and integrated services & solutions.
Role Description:
Evolve current automated RHEL on prem image/provisioning/SW & HW integration/validation and develop/evolve next generation automated RHEL off prem Cloud reach back and immutable image/provisioning/SW &HW integration/validation.

Ability to support a data center refresh initiative
Write/support an in-place upgrade process for databases on RHEL VMs
