Responsibilities Verify the accuracy of current production orders and remaining balance. Ensure the production line operates within specifications and meets quality standards. Maintain correct draw ratios, annealing ratios, and other relevant parameters. Complete daily Line Conditions sheet, thoroughly documenting any process deviations. Notify Shift Supervisor and Maintenance promptly of any operational issues. Verify correct blend setup and additives. Perform hourly checks of all process parameters, recording findings in the Hourly Technician Log. Monitor dryers for "Full" status and report issues for investigation. Check product periodically for visual inspection and accuracy. Assist in grinding scrap generated from line breaks. Ensure consistent, correct, and quality winds are produced and packaged properly. Fill out and submit work orders or safety work orders for repairs. Verify that packaging matches the Bill of Materials (BOM) assigned to the current production run. Ensure accurate and legible completion of all production paperwork. Relieve Production Operators for breaks. Assist Maintenance personnel when needed. Notify Production Operators before leaving the line for any reason. Track and lead all work order changes for the assigned line. Conduct periodic checks for surface blemishes, ink spots, and other visual defects. Inspect unused guides and shields for damage, reporting issues to the Shift Supervisor and Maintenance. Education and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping. Qualification Walking and standing for extended periods. Frequent lifting of up to 65 pounds. Frequent bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching. Repetitive arm and upper body action and movement. Exposure to dust, frequent loud noise, varying temperatures in the plant. Occasionally climbing stairs. Work experience in related industry is an asset but even if you do not have this, we still want you to apply. On the job training will be provided.
