We invite you to join our Valley Radiology Imaging team as a Limited X-Ray Technician in this full-time position.

In this Limited X-ray Tech position, you'll get to:

Perform high quality digital X-ray exams on incoming patients (within the legal scope of your license).
Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.
Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
Respond to physician questions regarding exams.
Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors.
Register patients, perform insurance verification, and collect co-pays.
Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.
Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with BLS certification issued by AHA, a CA State Limited X-ray Technician Permit (MUST INCLUDE/COVER DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY, CHEST, EXTREMITIES, SKULL, AND TORSO-SKELETAL), successful completion of a limited X-Ray Technician program, and a High School Diploma. The ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills, and the ability to lift 25 lbs are also a must. Recent X-ray work experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00 / hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, location and training. This pay scale is not a guarantee of a particular wage.
