Life Enrichment Director

Life Enrichment Director Location: 400 Gleason Drive, Moosic, PA, 18507 Job Description The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing programs and activities that promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents in a senior living community. The Director will work closely with other staff members to create a vibrant and engaging environment that encourages socialization, learning, and personal growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive life enrichment program that meets the needs and interests of residents. Coordinate and schedule activities, events, and outings. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and staff members. Manage the life enrichment budget and ensure that all activities are cost-effective. Collaborate with other departments to integrate life enrichment activities into the overall care plan for residents. Assess the effectiveness of programs and make adjustments as needed. Ensure that all activities are safe, appropriate, and comply with regulatory requirements. Communicate regularly with residents and their families to gather feedback and suggestions for improvement. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all life enrichment activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and implementing life enrichment programs for seniors Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to senior living communities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
