JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing, preparing, and maintaining various state lenders, collection, and broker-licenses, corporate filings, reports, and renewals for a consumer lending company. This position also manages state audits and examinations. In addition, the position will on an ad hoc basis assist the company's legal and compliance personnel in various compliance matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Maintain Company's approximately 60 stated based lender, broker, and collection licenses, including, analyzing and handling renewals, reports, and new license in current and future new states.
Oversee and managing all NMLS online system related matters related to licensing and registration
Coordinate and oversee state auditing and exam processes.
Coordinate and create new processes and applications relating to states licensing needs.
Handle communications and interactions with state licensing personnel relating to licensing, audits, and exams.
Oversee, handle and process annual filings and reports with various Secretary of State offices.
Lead resource person to Business Units with respect to licensing requirements.
Oversee and manage internal reporting, file maintenance and creation and maintenance of a master calendar-based tracking system.
Attend training and education on pertinent compliance laws and regulations.
Work closely with legal, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to licensing and compliance.
Assist the Company's Legal and Compliance units with internal and external compliance matters as needed.
Generate regular reports for senior management on the status of compliance activities, potential risks, and corrective actions.
Establish mechanisms to monitor, track, calendar and evaluate compliance with licensing, laws, and regulations.
Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations, laws, and industry standards that may impact the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's degree, with a preference in Accounting, Business, Finance, or similar field.
Minimum of two years' relevant experience required.
Licensing (Lending or Insurance), contract administration or lending compliance preferable.

Proficient knowledge in using NMLS online system.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
Excel spreadsheet working knowledge or ability to be trained therein. Proficiency in working with electronic systems and databases to gather and analyze data. Familiarity with using pivot tables is a plus.

Working knowledge of how to research policies, laws and changes using commonly accepted legal tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and sit for a minimum of 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the logistics duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers, printers, and other light traffic noise in an office setting.
This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
