Job Details:

We are seeking a Licensed Security Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems, including security alarms and access control systems. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about safety and security. Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair security systems, including alarms and access control systems, at various construction sites.
2. Perform regular inspections and tests on the security systems to ensure they are functioning optimally.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the security systems promptly and effectively.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to construction site staff regarding the use and maintenance of the security systems.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all installations, inspections, repairs, and other work done.
6. Stay abreast of the latest developments in security technology and suggest improvements to the existing security systems.
7. Collaborate with other construction staff to ensure the security systems are integrated into the construction process effectively.
8. Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, and ensure the security systems meet all relevant legal and company requirements.
9. Provide training to other team members on the use and maintenance of the security systems.
10. Respond to emergencies promptly and take appropriate actions.

Qualifications:

1. Must hold a valid Security Technician License.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Technician in the construction industry.
3. Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security alarm and access control systems.
4. Excellent technical skills, with the ability to understand and work with complex security systems.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
6. Good communication skills, with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to non-technical staff.
7. Knowledge of the latest developments in security technology.
8. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other construction staff.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
10. Ability to respond to emergencies promptly and take appropriate actions.
11. Must comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
12. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
13. Physical fitness, as the role may involve some heavy lifting and working at heights.
