Trusted Staffe Seeks Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Care Center in Silver City, NM

Trusted Staffe is partnering with a care center in Silver City, NM to find a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified LPN to make a positive difference in the lives of residents in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and other patient conditions.
  • Document patient care accurately and effectively in electronic medical records.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Educate and empower residents to participate in their own care as much as possible.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow staff members.
  • Participate in unit meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Mexico.
    • Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting (preferred).
    • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
    • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
