Amberwood Estates in St. Louis is seeking an experienced LPN to join our talented staff of professionals. As leaders in the long-term care industry, we believe in caring for everyone. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction. Operates within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for resident care during assigned shift; including staff assignments, mentoring and educating nursing personnel, working with physicians and other medical professionals.

Location: 5303 Bermuda Drive, St. Louis, MO

Bonus Program & Pay:

  • Competitive Base Wage: Our commitment to your hard work startswith a competive base wage that reflects your skills and experience.
  • 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Shift: Enjoy an additional $3.00 per hour during these prime working hours.
  • 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Shift: Night owls, we've got you covered with an extra $1.50 per hour for your dedication during the late shift.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation regarding care and service provided.
  • Accurately chart in resident's EMR that reflects care administered.
  • Wears proper PPE when necessary.
  • Administer treatment and medications timely; orders and performs diagnostic tests timely.
  • Assumes nursing administrative duties on weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Effectively communicate to outgoing RN during shift change.
  • Investigates resident/family complaints and takes appropriate actions to bring it to resolution.
  • Complies with state and Federal Regulations in all matters; participate in facility surveys as scheduled.
  • Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team; carries out Physician's orders.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Nursing program (LPN) and licensed in MO
  • 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation
