About the Position:

The main duties of a licensed practical nurse (LPN) is to assess resident's needs, develop an individualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. LPNs follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies, and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies/Procedures.

Qualification/Responsibilities:
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license AND/OR
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
  • Provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
  • Accurately administers medication and treatment to residents per Physician orders. Follows all required protocols, policies, and regulations related to medication administration.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on required charting, medication/treatment administration, incidents/accidents, Physician orders, admission/transfer/discharge, weights/vitals, etc.
  • Must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing
Shift & Wage:
  • Full-Time Opportunities Available
  • Shifts Needed: All Shifts
  • Wage: Up to $36.00 per hour
  • Sign-on Bonus available paid out quarterly
