Position Highlights: Work / Life: Hours: 7A-7P (7P-7A), 3 12 hour shifts per week Education Opportunities: Continue to advance you and your families education, utilizing BRMC Foundation Scholarships. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance. Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care within scope for assigned patients on the nursing unit under the direction of a registered nurse the nursing team. Responsible for the care given to the patient and ofr the decision regarding which nursing tasks can be safely delegated to licensed and unlicensed persons involved in patient care. Must be competent in a wide variety of nursing skills. Accountable for adhering to all standards of nursing care and promoting a team effort among co-workers. Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Job Requirements: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State Nurse in good standing. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience is required. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS and PALS are encouraged, but not required. Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required. Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
