SUMMARY: This position is filled by a licensed practical nurse who, as a result of educational and clinical experience, possesses the advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing care and ensures quality focused and cost-effective care delivery outcomes. BRMC COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Understands and adheres to BRMC standards as they appear in BRMC intranet Lippincott Library. Required to work with the compliance officer and the compliance committee to detect, report and resolve any compliance concerns in a timely manner. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State Practical Nurse license in good standing. Experience: Previous nursing experienced preferred. Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required. Primary Source Verification: Arkansas State Board of Nursing or NURSYS Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Spends eight hours or more sitting in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing telephone, keyboard and/or mouse, and other desk equipment. Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Work Environment: Clinic setting Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a Clinical setting which is open 8-12 hours a day, up to 365 days a year. Holidays and work during inclement weather may be required.
