Licensed Practical Nurse - CMA - Mountainview Medical Job Location US-NC-King Job Opening ID 99 Facility Mountainview Building - King Department NH Mountainview Medical C Work Schedule Other Work Schedule Details 715a-615p Category Licensed Practical Nurse Job Status Full-Time Overview Hours: 40 hrs M-F Novant Health Mountainview Medical is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently. You will also work directly with healthcare practice staff to collect test samples, maintain patient records, explain common medical procedures to patients and assist in basic examinations. Qualifications CMA: Education: High school diploma. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, that includes an externship in a medical office clinical setting, required. Curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. (Certificate must be obtained within six months of hire). Certifications accepted: CMA - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) CCMA - National Health career Association (NHA) RMA - American Medical Technologists (AMT) RMA - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) RMA - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) RMA - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Experience: Previous work in a medical setting preferred. Licensure/certification/registration: CMA, CCMA, RMA. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096. Annual UAP agreement with provider required. Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. LPN: Education:High school diploma required. Experience:One year of relevant experience preferred. Licensure/certification/registration:Appropriate state LPN license required. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096. Additional skills required:Computer skills, phone call etiquette, organizational skills.
