Licensed Practical Nurse

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of nursing is seeking a 100% Licensed Practical Nurse to work at the Pediatric Specialty Clinic. Duties to include: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification.
