Licensed Practical Nurse

Title: LPN - GERI
Location: Williamsville, NY 14221
Duration: 8 weeks
Hours per Week: 40hrs per week
Shift & Time: 2pm to 10pm
Desired Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

• Assist registered nurses and physicians by helping patients with basic life activities such as eating and moving around, while also checking blood pressure and other vitals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care and comfort, including changing bandages and helping with bathing or dressing.
• Discuss care with patients and listen to their concerns. Report patients' status and concerns to registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, or physicians.
• Document patient care and maintain health records.

• Experience Required: PCC experience.
• License Required: NY State nursing License
• Certificates Required: BLS

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required
• On-call Requirements: as required by the facility
• Holidays Requirements : as required by the facility
