Job Summary- The LPN is accountable for performing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is accountable for all residents assigned to him/her according to established nurse practice act.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
- Promotes and nurtures Mother Joseph Manor's philosophy of a resident centered care environment.
Education and/or Experience- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
- Geriatric, medical, or surgical experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration- Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
- Membership in a professional organization preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Work Schedule- Night shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am; 48 hours every 2 weeks
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday
PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
