Job Description: Licensed Nurse for Remote Telehealth

We are seeking a licensed nurse with a passion for providing remote healthcare services through innovative telehealth technologies. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality and patient-centered care to individuals from the comfort of their homes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and leverage advanced telecommunication tools to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct remote patient assessments and triage, utilizing telehealth platforms and video conferencing tools.
2. Provide comprehensive nursing care, including health monitoring, medication management, and physician compliance assistance, remotely.
3. Assess and address patients' concerns, answering medical questions, and providing guidance on managing acute and chronic conditions.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) for each patient encounter.
6. Advocate for patient needs.
7. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and management of symptoms to promote self-care and improved health outcomes.
8. Stay updated on latest advancements in telehealth technologies and nursing practices, participating in continuing education opportunities.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Requirements:

1. Valid and unrestricted nursing license.
2. Proven experience as a licensed nurse, preferably in a remote care or telehealth setting.
3. Proficiency in working with telehealth platforms, virtual communication tools, and EHR systems.
4. Sound clinical judgment and ability to adapt to rapidly changing patient needs in a remote environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases.
7. Knowledge of current nursing practices, medical terminology, and principles of healthcare ethics.
8. Ability to provide empathetic and compassionate care remotely, establishing rapport with patients.
9. Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate patient needs.
10. Commitment to maintaining professional competence through ongoing learning and development.
