We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician / Professional Solar Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components in solar energy systems for commercial properties.

Key responsibilities include:

Reading blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts

Installing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment

Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers

Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems or malfunctions

Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

Installing solar panels, inverters, and mounting hardware according to design specifications

Performing electrical wiring and connections to integrate solar systems with existing electrical systems

Conducting site assessments to determine optimal placement and orientation of solar panels

Ensuring compliance with local building codes, electrical codes, and industry standards

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to solar system performance or functionality

Collaborating with team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget

Participating in training and continuing education to stay current on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

Valid electrician's license issued by the State of California

Proven experience as a licensed electrician / professional solar installer

Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components

Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams

Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Outstanding attention to detail and safety protocols

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments and conditions

Fair and equitable compensation. There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $75,000-$90,000.
