Summary of Position:
Provide direct evaluation, treatment and support of social/emotional disorders to clients using evidence-based practice
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform developmental screenings, intake assessments and individual adult, child family therapy and/or couples therapy in adherence to goals established on the intake evaluation and treatment plan.
Finalize daily session notes including goal, intervention, and follow up plan that describes session content and documents client's participation. For school/center based clients, provide at minimum weekly communication with parents/caregivers for each child summarizing the session and including appropriate at-home reinforcements.
Report caseload status within MTC services (i.e., enrollment, pending, screenings) on a consistent basis (timeframe to be mutually agreed upon) to Clinical Manager of Child and Family Services.
Technical Requirements - Education, Areas of Knowledge and Experience:
Masters Degree in respective mental health field
Illinois State License through IDFPR: License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

Customer Base:
Enrolled clients/families on caseloads
Directors/Principals, Staff at facilities
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job:
Driving between client visits and facilities.
Lifting/transporting therapy materials (i.e., evaluation materials, toys, and manipulatives).
