Leviaton Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Machine Learning models for time series forecasting on complex datasets.
• Utilize your strong understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and time series analysis to achieve optimal model performance.
• Leverage your computer science background to design efficient data pipelines, handle large-scale data processing, and implement data structures and algorithms for efficient analysis.
• Clean, pre-process, and validate massive datasets to ensure model accuracy and robustness.
• Interpret, analyze, and visualize forecasting results to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in time series forecasting techniques and Machine Learning best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, etc.) to ensure successful integration of forecasting models. (Plus.) While not mandatory, experience working with geospatial data will be a major plus.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience and proven ability).
• Strong experience in time series analysis and forecasting techniques (ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, etc.).
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement Machine Learning models using languages like Python (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Experience working with big data platforms and tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights.
