Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Level 2 Technician to join their team onsite in Charlotte, NC. This resource will provide day to day local remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, and answer questions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts
- Provide adds, moves, and change services, software imaging
- Perform inventory tracking and control
- Provide first level contact and service resolution for customer requests
- Provide timely communication on work assignment status and resolution
- Maintain ticket updates for all reported service requests
- Use scripted instructions to install Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, and other desktop office productivity applications
- Perform install and upgrade for printers, computer hardware
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers
- Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
- Effectively determine priorities and meet SLA's
Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum 6 to 18+ months of IT experience
- CompTIA A+ certfication
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office 365
- Working knowledge of PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio / Visual, and Telecom equipment to perform Smart Hands services
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal customer service skills
- The ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing industry and work environment
- Willing to work off-hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support
