Overview:
Responsible for improving and maintaining operational processes within the legal and compliance department, supporting the General Counsel with planning, creating and managing processes, identifying and leading initiatives to improve legal and compliance team efficiency, implementing and managing the various reporting functions, and ensuring effective communication between legal and business teams.
Essential Job Functions:
Confidentiality: Maintains confidentiality.
Communication: Liaises with co-workers and internal/external customers
Organization: Ensures credit and legal documentation packages are complete and that all outstanding issues are addressed prior to delivery.
Coordination: Coordinates deliveries in compliance with company policy.
Equipment: Uses such office equipment as computer.
Physical: Sits for extended time periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement processes to improve legal and compliance team operations.
Coordinate legal projects and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate work assignments for the legal and compliance team
Create reports on team performance and assist with workload management
Manage privacy inbox and process all requests
Review and respond to subpoenas
Review inbound mail and distribute
Intake and log service of process and route appropriately
Support exam and audit functions by gathering and delivering documents and preparing loan files for delivery
Escalation contact for social media and marketing review
Prepare and maintain reporting in Onspring
Prepare monthly meeting materials for board and other committees
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior organizational skills
Technologically proficient in MS Windows software.
Advanced use of Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel; Basic PowerPoint skills
Experience with Encompass
2-5 year mortgage banking experience, preferably with an IMB
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
