Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all legal activities, including court dates, meetings, and case management.
  • Edit and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date case management system.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, depositions, and meetings.
  • Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal reports and documents.
  • Manage the legal department's calendar, schedule appointments, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for case management and resolution.
  • Handle administrative tasks as required, such as answering phones, filing, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal administrative role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in legal research and case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
