EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL VACANCY HUMAN RESOURCES LEAVE SPECIALIST EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER ABOUT THE POSITION School District 49 seeks a Human Resources professional to join our Human Resources team as Leave Specialist. The Leave Specialist coordinates and administers all aspects of employee leaves of absence, disability programs and accommodation requests ensuring compliance with district policies, and federal and state regulations, while providing instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to employees and administrators. The Leave Specialist serves as the subject matter expert on district policy and applicable laws and regulations associated with leaves of absence and disability accommodation. A sucessful candidate for this position should possess an advanced understanding of basic math and calculation skills with the ability to process complex pay situations, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional time management and ability to track dates and deadlines and provide needed follow-up, excellent oral and written communication skills, suberb interpersonal relations skills, strong multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills, in addition to critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills. Calendar: Full year Reports to: Human Resources Manager Hourly rate of pay: Starting pay is $25.08 per hour to $33.20 per hour depending upon previous relevant experience.
