4 Corner Resources is looking for an experienced Lead Traffic Signal Technician for one of our clients in the Orlando, FL area. This is a 6-month contract to hire role and fully onsite. The main responsibility is to perform maintenance services on Traffic Signal System equipment, including troubleshooting, cabinet wiring and installation. This is an exciting opportunity to get your start at a large enterprise level organization.

Lead Traffic Signal Technician Responsibilities:
  • Manages the prioritization and day-to-day progress of projects/tasks while assessing the resource load in order to meet the needs of the business.
  • Perform any aspect of installation and maintenance to include; troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment, systems, and wiring; installation of equipment; upgrades, modifications, programming; and documentation.
  • Test devices to ensure they are working properly.
  • Troubleshoot to restore equipment in working order.
  • Diagnoses and repairs hardware, software, and system issues.
  • Completes reports, logs and performs shift-to-shift communications in accordance with established policies, procedures and local practices.
  • Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of cabinet wiring, wiring to traffic signal heads, traffic controllers, and solid-state components per manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Performs repair, removal, and replacement of cabinets controllers and other equipment; repairs conduit and pull wires and cables, as needed; performs emergency repairs as needed.

Lead Traffic Signal Technician Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of recent relevant experience.
  • International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal II Certification.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Class B CDL license preferred.
  • FDOT approved Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing CCTV and MVDS units and DMS signs preferred.

Lead Traffic Signal Technician Compensation:
  • $25 - $30 / HR
Lead Traffic Signal Technician Benefits and Perks:
  • 6-month contract to hire.
  • Normal business hours Monday through Friday with the flexible to be on call if needed.
  • Fully onsite and in the field.
