LFCS is seeking a compassionate professional Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide effective counseling/therapy services to individuals, couples and families who seek help for mental health related concerns, as well as licensure supervision and/or practicum supervision for LFCS colleagues and practicum students. The position will serve children, youth, adults and families in both a school environment and in an office setting in the St. Louis, MO area. The schedule for this position includes at least 2 evenings per week in the office with school hours on the other days. This position offers the opportunity for variety in locale and flexibility in scheduling. Duties Provide effective counseling/therapy to clients including case coordination and crisis intervention as needed. Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and clinical support to therapists for licensure supervision and graduate students for practicum supervision. Serve as a role model and source of mentoring and clinical support to therapists on the team. May also provide classroom-based prevention psychoeducation programming at partner school sites when requested. Minimum Education and Experience: Master's degree in a mental health related field with 3 years of social services experience. Must be professionally licensed in the state of Missouri as professional clinical social worker. Must meet the state licensing board requirements to provide supervision towards professional licensure as a LCSW. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of counseling theories and practices, therapeutic models and interventions for use with children and youth. Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment planning. Knowledge of ethical standards and legal regulations. Knowledge of community resources. Effective professional therapeutic skills. Crisis intervention skills. Ability to function as an effective team member. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain accurate and complete client records.
