Job Purpose

Our team coordinates and facilitates a variety of HR initiatives to support our associates so we can continue to build high quality products that contribute to the power of the Honda Brand.



Key Accountabilities

  • Lead daily management of team that provides HR Business Partner services.
  • Lead and guide in the area of Labor Relations in order to maintain union free status. Train and mentor HR Partners as well as current and future HDMA leaders.
  • Assist in the development of human resource policies.
  • Research HR emerging issues and trends to inform strategic business decision and HR strategy as it relates to key areas of responsibility.
  • Communicate and facilitate company level initiatives as appropriate such as Regional Compensation and Promotions, Performance Management, etc with Department Leads.
  • Lead as a strategic business partner regarding HR business plan initiatives or themes.
  • Manage key projects and support as assigned.
  • Advise on and coordinate regarding Exempt and Non-Exempt associates' adherence to company policies and procedures with exit interviews, leave of absence, etc.
  • Manage and support with associate movement process and evaluating documentation to ensure aligning with company policies, budgets, etc.
  • Support Legal team as needed.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources ore related Business of Psychology field
  • Eight (8) years of equivalent, related job experience.
  • Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint, PeopleSoft.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
