Lead SAS Developer

Role: Lead SAS Developer
Location: Cincinnati-OH (onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
The person will need to interview in person, in Cincinnati and work on-site 5 days a week. This position is with one of our financial client partners for a Lead SAS Engineer who will partner with our Risk & Compliance team. Operating as part of an agile squad, this engineer will work with their product owner, stakeholders as well as internal teams to build or install solutions in an iterative fashion. Ideal candidates should possess experience developing with SAS. Knowledge of visualizing data and ETL is a plus. This role will help complete software releases and deployments that create real value for the bank and its customers. Can read, document, & code SAS
Great communication skills
Local and onsite - can relocate if needed
Admin capabilities is a plus but need a strong dev
Must have experience and be strong in a Data space - understand/do ETL, SQL, etc
Production support will be part of the responsibilities - will have support from other engineers, but flexible hours to fix issues if prod support is needed. Skills Needed to Succeed:
SAS developer experience
Strong database skills including strong SQL knowledge & database design
Linux Bash Scripting
Tableau or other visualization experience is helpful but not required
3+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position.
Knowledge of object-oriented and functional software design.
Familiarity with RESTful networking.
Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub.
Understanding of security best practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
