Qualifications Must have a Child Development Associate Certification Teaching Computer skills Communication skills Toddler and Preschool care High school diploma or GED We are looking for a fun, loving, and nurturing Lead Teacher who can ensure the basic care and learning needs of our little ones are met. We need someone who can provide learning lessons as well as awesome learning experiences and excellent physical and emotional care. Little Duckling believes early learning is part of the foundation for all future learning for young minds. We are looking for a like-minded person to help teach our young ones the fundamentals while providing a safe, loving environment where they can learn, explore, and blossom. Education Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma Must have a CDA ( Child Development Associate Certification) Performance Standards: Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized Keeping students on task and engaged. Great communication skills to communicate effectively with students, other teachers, staff members, as well as parents and guardians. Computer skills to manipulate and use online classroom applications for communicating and recording information. Ability to learn, retain, and implement health and safety guidelines for classrooms, childcare centers, and working with young children. Examples ( Safe Sleep, Diaper Changing Procedures, Handwashing Procedures, Food Service, Etc.) Other Requirements: Previous experience teaching preschoolers in a structured classroom environment. Have the ability to act as a positive role model for young children who are very impressionable. The physical ability to stand, crouch, sit, hear, use hands, balance, and be physically active in the classroom environment. Be able to lift 20-40 lbs.
