Lead Preschool Teacher

Our Award-Winning Goddard School, located at 10211 Krause Road in Chesterfield, is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher full-time that has 6 plus months of experience working in a preschool setting. We are an accredited preschool serving 6 weeks - 12 years of age. Overview A Lead Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for: Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment Maintaining a positive relationship with parents, children, and co-workers Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and participates in parent-teacher conferences Maintains a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create and explore Responds to the needs of children Plan, develop, and implement lesson plans for assigned classroom Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and /or school functions, ensuring that training requirements are met or exceeded Observes all rules and regulations of The Goddard School and local, state regulatory agencies Supervises and works well with an assistant teacher Keeps accurate attendance numbers at all times, including signing children in/out in the attendance binder and on the tablet Benefits Insurance Available Paid Holiday after 90 Days of Employment Paid Time Off after 90 Days of Employment Educational Qualifications All candidates, who wish to be considered for the position of Lead Teacher, must have either a degree in Education (Associated or Bachelor's) or CDA.
