Unique high end home remodeling contractor that services high net worth individuals is looking for an experienced lead carpenter to join their team. Projects are located throughout the DC Region.

The Lead Carpenter acts as the hands on field superintendent and is responsible for the successful on-time/on-budget completion of projects. This position offers a highly competitve compensation package including excellent benefits.

Job duties

Complete projects profitably and on schedule

Provide customer satisfaction and communication

Carry out job-site supervision, including protection of property and job-site cleanliness

Perform all aspects of carpentry labor

Supervise all subcontractors, carpenters, and laborers on your projects

Schedule permit inspections

Perform material takeoffs and quality checks

Make sure all necessary tools and materials are on your projects

Set clear goals for each worker on site; give clear instructions and confirm that they have been followed

Requirements

Working Vehicle and valid Driver's License

Five years of carpentry experience

Complete expanded inventory of hand and basic power tools

Ability to read blueprints, Client out project from foundation up, and follow contract

Knowledge of basic building code requirements

Knowledge of basic mechanical requirements

Ability to perform material takeoffs

Ability to direct and manage others

Excellent communication skills
