Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of all equipment, ensuring that machines are kept in optimal condition and any repairs are carried out promptly and effectively.
2. Performing regular inspections of machinery and systems to detect any irregularities or potential issues.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, including those related to hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and conveyors.
4. Leading a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and supervision to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
5. Implementing preventative maintenance programs and maintaining records of all maintenance work.
6. Collaborating with other departments to optimize production and ensure that all equipment meets the necessary safety and efficiency standards.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and industry trends, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Lead Maintenance Technician role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing and distribution industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in machine maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, troubleshooting, and conveyors.
3. Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
5. Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and work with complex machinery and systems.
6. A relevant technical certification or degree is preferred.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
8. Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
