Job Description

The Lead Global Process Owner - Demand Driven Planning is responsible for supporting and helping advance Supply Chain business processes for Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN) to help create a competitively advantaged supply chain using Demand Driven Planning (DDMRP) methodology. This role will be the gatekeeper of the overall planning process integrity by providing cross-functional planning team leadership for supporting the Demand Driven Planning, Orchestr8 (O8) software. The Lead Global Process Owner will be responsible for capturing and resolving planning issues, improving global processes, maintaining data standards, ensuring compliance to standard processes, and presenting metrics.

Additionally, this role will hold key positions in preparing future supply/demand projects with a long-term support model. Collectively, these activities will create value by capturing synergies, improving overall supply chain performance, and enabling business growth.

Status and Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in North Olmsted, OH; Maumee, OH; Oak Creek, WI; or Deerfield, IL. Our hybrid model requires in-office presence 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) while working remotely Mondays and Fridays.

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

  • Accountable for ensuring standardized FBIN supply planning processes by identifying and promoting single ways of working across different regions.
  • Maintenance owner of FBIN process design documents for Demand Driven Planning processes.
  • First contact point for power users/planners to manage process execution-related questions within the O8 system. Provides training as needed.
  • Conduct process compliance analysis and provide planner feedback.
  • Engage with O8 teams to solve issues and incorporate process improvements.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement actions related to the O8 system implementation and present changes to the Change Review Board by documenting the enhancement/change and expected benefits.
  • Actively participate in change management and governance activities associated with moving from the project implementation phase to the ongoing long-term support model.
    • Global Process design, documentation, training, auditing, and continuous improvement
    • Define and manage the processes, policies, standards, tools, and compliance employed for critical supply chain data.
    • Establish enterprise-wide supply chain metrics.
    • Recommend IT solutions to enable the above-mentioned supply chain processes.
  • Support the partnership between Supply Chain and IT regarding O8-related activities.
  • Partner and collaborate effectively across all levels of Supply Chain globally to advance a center-led governance approach and help achieve sustainable customer experience, cost, and inventory productivity outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree Required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant supply chain experience in roles of increasing responsibility, including process / continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience utilizing an ERP system.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven record of successfully (re)designing supply chain processes, enabling them with IT solutions, leading cross-functional teams, gaining organizational buy-in, and delivering intended results.
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one and experience with the following processes: demand planning, inventory planning, capacity planning, master production scheduling, materials management, order management, warehouse management, and transportation management.
  • Skillful in building valued partnerships with stakeholders, communicating effectively to various audiences, influencing and leading change, applying emotional intelligence, and managing projects.
  • Ability to lead by example.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
  • Master s Degree.
  • SAP experience.
  • Supply Chain expertise gained through training, certification, and/or industry associations (e.g., APICS CSCP, Gartner Membership, edX courses).
  • Project Management experience/certification (e.g., PMI).
  • Prosci ADKAR experience/certification.
  • Demand Driven Institute (DDI) Certification (e.g., DDSCP, DDPP, DDLP) - Experience using and/or implementing Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) methodology.
