Job Description

The Lead Financial Analyst, Planning & Reporting, is a pivotal role responsible for leading and supporting the Long-term and Annual Plan cycles for total Fortune Brands Innovations. This role will understand the business drivers, key performance indicators of the business, and highlight financial trends that could hinder or accelerate financial impact. Serves as a prime source of financial information provided to senior management to communicate the financial progress and impact of consolidated Fortune Brands.

Position location: This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main office located in Deerfield, IL, to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Drive the development and consolidation of financial guidance and targets for the Long-term and Annual Plans across the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements
  • Collaborate with Business Units and Central functions to enhance and drive cross-functional alignment and effectiveness
  • Develop financial models for various scenarios and evaluate the financial impact of each scenario
  • Prepare monthly reporting and provide management with insightful analysis and insights to make optimal business decisions
  • Lead the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
  • Think analytically, focus on the big picture, and be able to drill into the detail and disseminate key insights
  • Synthesize large data sets that provide insightful analysis in support of the business
  • Operate independently, be flexible in a changing environment and challenge the status quo


Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field required
  • 7+of experience in finance, business, or related field required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to navigate complex financial models and data
  • Exceptional data storytelling and advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in establishing new processes
  • Resourceful with a proactive attitude and the ability to work in ambiguous situations


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master s Degree preferred
  • Background in finance or broad business knowledge preferred
