Lead Devops Infrastructure Engineer

About Client:

The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.

Rate Range: $60-$65 per hour on C2C (All Inclusive)

Job Description:

Strong knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as Infrastructure as Code, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.

Strong knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell etc.).

Strong background in RHEL 8/9, Apache2.x, Tomcat9 and REST technology.

Experience and understanding of monitoring and ops analysis tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics etc.

Drives to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product.

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.

Familiar with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jules etc).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Experience in Java development technologies

AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification (Associate level)

Drive to automation and minimize manual routine tasks is desirable.

Drive to uncover system problems and provide suggestions and solutions
