Lead Data Engineer

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card

Must be willing to come in to office and work on site 3 days per week

Manager has no interest in full remote/offsite workers

EDUCATION / MINIMUM YEARS REQUIRED:

1. Bachelor Degree in any Quantitative Field

(e.g. CS, CIS, Stats, Engineering, Econ, Data Science, Natural Science)

2. Minimum 5 years exp in Data Analytics or Statistical Analysis (3 yrs if MS Degree)

May consider more senior Data Engineers without degree if 8-15 yrs exp

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED

Very strong expertise in data munging using SQL

Highly skilled in data analysis techniques: regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, and optimization

Knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.

Strong experience creating and maintaining data warehouses with Big Data technologies (example: Cloudera Hadoop, Snowflake)

Experience with at least one programming language (examples: Python, pySpark, Scala)

Successfully developed solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space

Great presentation skills using PowerBI, Tableau, PowerPoint and Excel
