Lead Architect with Security Clearance

Job Title: Lead Architect Responsibilities of the Lead Architect EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking candidates for a Lead Architectsupporting the U.S. Army in Radford, VA. The Lead Architect will: Work with Government engineers to develop and maintain the architecture. Provide technical oversight and guidance to all engineers supporting the project to comply with the defined architecture. Promote automation and DevOps processes across the team. Ensure cybersecurity compliance and best practices are incorporated into the architecture. Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of any hosting platform issues. Collaborate with internal and external parties to transform high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements for implementation. Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and computer services and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of hands-on experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of hands-on experience. Senior-level architectural experience at the enterprise level. Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack - network, storage, server, and applications. Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) - preferred.
