LCSW LMFT LPC Director of Intake Acute Psychiatry Hospital

Korzen Health is working with one of the leading Hospitals for Behavioral Healthcare in the Bakersfield community.

We are looking to add a Director of Intake to direct the day-to-day operations of the Intake Department, ensuring prospective service, link recipients' to appropriate resources or care providers.

Duties include:

- The Director of Intake is responsible for the success, accountability and oversight of the admission process.

- Manages the day to day operations of Intake and Reception to ensure safe and appropriate care is provided to those referred to and presenting for assessment for mental health and chemical dependency services.

- This position ensures the direction and implementation of operating policies, processes and initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

- LCSW, LPC or LMFT

- Prefer two (2) years of experience in management level positions in mental health clinics or experience in a lead position providing direct clinical or case management oversight.

- Knowledge of an acute psychiatric hospitalization environment preferred. Must have experience in interviewing support and professional staff and providing director level oversight of strategic planning, organization growth, budget management and clinical application of services.
