Are you an experienced accounting professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for the legal industry? We are a prestigious law firm seeking a talented and ambitious Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, where every day brings new tasks and responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the firm's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
2. Preparing billing statements and ensuring that all invoices are sent out promptly and accurately.
3. Conducting monthly bank reconciliations and identifying any discrepancies or irregularities.
4. Utilizing Aderant, our premier legal software, to manage the firm's financial data and generate reports.
5. Managing a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support, and ensuring they adhere to the firm's accounting policies and procedures.
6. Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the firm's goals and objectives.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations and industry standards.
8. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
9. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a l role within the accounting department of a law firm
3. Proficiency in Aderant or a similar legal accounting software.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as legal industry regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
10. High levels of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
