Laundry Service Technician III

Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Engineering Laundry Technician III to join our new commercial laundry facility. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to work in a cutting-edge commercial laundry environment, supporting and servicing a wide range of commercial and industrial laundry equipment for multiple large properties.

As a Commercial Laundry Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to service and maintain a variety of commercial laundry equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Your duties will encompass the following:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.

Conduct general building maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in good working condition.

Maintain and monitor chemical systems used in the laundry process.

Service gas-fired boilers and heaters.

Safely and correctly use cylinders and torches for welding and brazing tasks.

Service and maintain HVAC (A/C and heating) systems within the facility.

Assist with various tasks such as ribbons, blowdowns, waxing, and general support.

Connect and operate pressure regulators accurately.

Develop and adhere to a comprehensive maintenance program, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance activities for assigned equipment, as directed by the supervisor.

Understand basic electronic components, both digital and analog, as well as wiring diagrams.

Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and behavior.

Understand the importance of product production to the company's success and work with a sense of urgency.

Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
