Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking Top Talent as a Launch Vehicle Integrator for our Air Force/Space Force Programs The Launch Vehicle Integrator will provide Launch System integration support to the SSC AATS NSSL Launch Vehicle Mission Assurance (LVMA) Team as part of the System Engineering & Integration II Contract. Work will include support to the United Launch Alliance Atlas/Vulcan family of launch vehicles and SpaceX Falcon/Falcon Heavy launch vehicles along with their respective launch complexes. May also include launch vehicle to spacecraft integration efforts as well as support to new Launch Service Providers as they are brought on contract. Clearance: Must have an active SECRET security clearance. An active TS/SCI clearance is desired. Location: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL The Launch Vehicle Integrator will: Perform concept analysis, analysis/review of designs and test plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, complex system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems
Providing evaluation, assessment, and status of Launch Service provider (LSP) processing activities and problem resolution.
Providing technical assessments of launch campaign planning to support various readiness review processes
Program plan development and maintenance
Managing console operations and monitoring/analyzing real-time launch vehicle data
Development of mission unique requirements and derived requirements identification
Monitoring and verifying all launch vehicle and satellite vehicle interface requirements including satellite vehicle transportation and processing requirements
Providing assessment on payload integration requirements, ability of the LSP and the Range to meet payload requirements, and assist in identifying risks/issues to the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) Launch Mission Manager and Space Launch Delta 45 Leadership. Gather data and assist in technical information flow between NRO and mission managers Providing technical evaluation of and production of technical products for on-console NSSL launch/processing operations and rehearsals Assessing, evaluating, updating, and executing the Rehearsal Anomaly Team process including developing and executing anomaly scenarios, scheduling necessary exercise resources, and supporting the lessons-learned process
Provide Engineering Launch Support System (ELSS) support to LVMA Team during mission operations and facilitate Launch Support Center user requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field
12 years DoD/Launch/Range/Spacelift Integration experience
Experienced in system engineering and project management and working with senior Government program managers and various contractor support staffs as well as in a multi-disciplinary, geographically separated team environment
Familiarity with Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) facilities, processes, providers, and operations
Flexibility to support mission operations during non-standard business hours/days with expectation to perform those duties over multiple attempts
Effective communication skills with ability to provide briefings to large groups and leadership
U.S. Citizenship
SECRET Clearance. TS/SCI Desired Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work both independently and in team environment, and maintain a positive professional attitude
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, operational environment and react to real-world system outages by applying critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
