Lathe Operator/Milling Machinist

Rico Manufacturing has a full-time position in our Machine Shop for a Lathe Operator/Milling Machinist. We are seeking a hard-working team player capable of quickly learning new procedures, technologies, and machinery. Job Essentials: Ability to set-up and operate milling machines and lathes. Evaluates blueprints, drawings, sample parts and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations to fabricate parts. Operates Metal working machine tools Assembles parts into completed units Lay out and verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring and marking. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining or enters comme Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines. Cleans (deburs) and labels all work pieces for the next stage of work. Designs fixtures, tooling, to meet special engineering needs Ability to work independently, good attendance, and clean work area.Working ability of shop math and intermediate skills in blue print reading, mechanics, metal properties layouts and machining procedures will be a plus for he successful candidate.
