Latchkey Afterschool Childcare Substitute Assistant

Job Summary: All positions will serve as substitute assistants in the Latchkey afterschool childcare program in the absence of our current staff. All positions will help supervise students after school while working with other supervisors, and will not be required to supervise students without additional support. Latchkey hours are 3:00-6:00 p.m. daily. Hours for this position may be flexible and could be from 3:00-4:00 or 3:00-4:30 p.m. when the majority of students are in Latchkey. Hours can be discussed once interest is expressed. Qualifications: 1. High school diploma is required 2. Excellent communication and organization skills 3. Experience working with students preferred Salary is determined by the BCSC classified pay scale and prior experience.
