Laser Machine Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laser cutting and programming, along with mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.

Duties:
- Operate and maintain laser cutting machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
- Program machines based on job requirements
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Laser Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in laser cutting techniques and programming
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machine issues
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience operating a crane is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $21.25 per hour

Expected hours: 48 - 56 per week
