Job Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Foreman to join their team. The Landscape Foreman will oversee and manage all aspects of landscape installation and maintenance projects. This individual should have strong leadership skills, the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients, and a solid understanding of landscaping techniques and best practices.


Responsibilities:



  1. Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians and laborers to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.

  2. Coordinate with project managers to schedule work assignments and allocate resources effectively.

  3. Implement landscape designs according to specifications, including planting, irrigation, hardscaping, and grading.

  4. Operate and maintain landscape equipment and machinery, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

  5. Monitor project progress and quality to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.

  6. Train and mentor team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures.

  7. Communicate regularly with clients to address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the work performed.

  8. Evaluate job sites for potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures.

  9. Manage inventory of materials and supplies, and coordinate deliveries as needed.

  10. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to project progress, expenses, and time tracking.


Requirements:



  1. Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman or similar role in the landscaping industry.

  2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.

  3. Extensive knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and materials.

  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

  5. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.

  6. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.

  7. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

  8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  9. Certification or training in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.

  10. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to landscaping work.
