Job Details

The Field Survey Technician operates electronic survey instruments and performs a variety of technical survey duties in the Land Surveying
Department. This person must be familiar with surveying field concepts, practices and procedures. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

In addition to conducting land surveys, responsibilities include measuring field locations of objects, dimensions and boundaries of land areas, position of points, lines and grades; operate conventional and electronic field surveying equipment; setting up total stations, GPS receivers, data collectors, and other equipment; establishing angles and distances for mapping, construction, stake out, and the establishment of control.

If you have a high school diploma/GED AND 1+ years experience in land surveying OR a Bachelors degree in land surveying, civil, or mechanical engineering, we welcome you to apply.
