LabVIEW Software Engineer

Pay Range: $37-45/hr
Duration: 24 months
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with managers, engineers, and technicians to identify and resolve gaps between the current software capabilities and the requirements of standards as well as clients.
- Independently completes software projects.
- Independently maintains and upgrades existing software.
- Works with internal clients to customize software to meet their testing requirements.
- Handles multiple projects at once and prioritizes independently.
- Trains others in the usage of software programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR Advanced degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client focus.
- 3 years of experience in LabVIEW.
- Experience in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or similar.
- Experience in VB and/or VBA.
- Experience working in the aerospace and/or defense industry.
- Experience working in a lab environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
