Your Mission:
    • Get ready to dive into the heart of the action. As a Laborer/Operator, you'll be at the forefront of field-based operations, tackling everything from rerailing missions to track maintenance and repair, load adjustments, and car repairs. Your playground? Job sites buzzing with energy and opportunity.

What You'll Do:
    • Start each day with a strategy session, gearing up for safety and efficiency in executing your daily tasks.
    • Fuel your adventure with a daily safety briefing, ensuring you're ready to tackle any challenge that comes your way.
    • From loading and unloading equipment to operating machinery, you'll be the driving force behind our operations.
    • Assemble, inspect, and operate cranes and other equipment with precision and skill.
    • Keep your senses sharp, rigging and connecting chains, cables, and winches during high-stakes derailments.
    • Get your hands dirty with manual labor-think cutting vegetation, digging trenches, and hauling materials like a true adventurer.
    • Master the art of equipment operation, whether it's cranes, backhoes, or excavators, as you conquer tasks ranging from specialty lifting to track maintenance.

Your Adventure Checklist:
    • 1 year of experience in a field-based operation involving manual labor preferred-construction, farming, utilities, or a related industry.
    • Hold a valid Driver's License and be ready to hit the road at a moment's notice.
    • Safety is your middle name-demonstrate strong adherence to safety policies and procedures.
    • Prepare for action with qualification tests, including E-Rail Safe and other essential safety programs.
    • Stay on standby for thrilling emergency calls, because adventure never sleeps-even on weekends and holidays.

The Challenge Ahead:
    • Stay on your toes, traversing uneven surfaces, and conquering all weather conditions.
    • Flex your muscles with constant bending, twisting, stooping, and lifting loads up to 50 pounds.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
    • Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony + sex offender)
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
    • Applicants for employment must be U.S. Citizens or national, U.S. permanent residents (i.e., current Green Card holders), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
