Laborer

Pay Range: $24.78 Job purpose: Safely and efficiently aid plant operation by moving material, operating and cleaning equipment Duties and responsibilities: Load, unload and move materials/containers within or near plant, yard, and work sige Load, unload and move material from pallets, trays, boxes and other containers Clean/wash work area, machines vehicles and or equipment Shovel loose material into machine hoppers, vehicles or pit Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products Work with corrosive chemicals such as caustic and sulfuric acids in a safe manner Paint equipment as necessary Complete the necessary regulatory paperwork Operate process equipment as instructed Work around steam driven machinery Work with and near cooking oil and raw animal part Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner Follow department and company procedures Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company Other duties as assigned
